"From our initial telephone conversation to placing our home on the market to the closing, Mary was with us every step of the way. She made the process easy because of her expertise, excellent organizational skills, clear explanations, and calm demeanor. We were living part-time across the country when the time came in our lives to sell our home of over 30 years. We had aged out of the series of steep steps in the house. Mary listened carefully to our concerns and needs. Her job was not easy because we were unaware of issues she would encounter when she first opened the door. To our shock and disbelief, the house was not the way we had left it. Most realtors would have walked away. She went in, rolled up her sleeves and had the house spic and span from top to bottom, along with doing yardwork herself. Her subsequent staging was impeccable. The house sold in a couple of days. Later we flew out to sort and pack up our home. Mary offered to pick us up at the airport on our late night arrival, had food in the fridge, and an assortment of packing materials. She anticipated all of our needs, so many we hadn’t considered. Later she helped us pack, carried loads to Goodwill and the dump, and made dinner for us in the evenings. When the movers changed the date to pick up our boxes and pack some objects, we were in a panic because we were scheduled to fly out a few days before. Mary to the rescue once again. She met the movers and then had the house ready for the new owner, who took it over at midnight. Mary began as our realtor, but she became our friend. We continue to stay in touch and I hope that she will visit us in the future. We wish we had known Mary when we lived “down the road” from her. What a difference she would have made in our lives. But she has and is making a difference now, and for that we will always be grateful. Thank you, Mary."
